Future MMA moved for the 7th edition of the event and the venue chosen for the show on July 26, in the city of São Paulo, was the Clube Atlético Indiano. Located in Parque Alves de Lima, the venue will host the competition for the inaugural batamweight belt (61 kg) between Taigro Costa and Herbeth 'Índio'. And the protagonists of the show are betting on Future's international visibility to attract attention of the greatest MMA organizations on the planet.
"I'm going with this in my head and heart: after this fight, or better, after that belt, I'll get my contract with UFC. Future MMA has a great visibility out there and I really want a great victory and go to the UFC", Indio said.
For that, the fighter bet on his refined jiu-jitsu, through which he defeated nine of the 13 opponents who won throughout his professional career in MMA. With only one defeat in the cartel, Indio projects to be aggressive from the beginning of the duel against Taigro, in search of a breach of the rival.
"I believe a lot in my jiu-jitsu. I can not keep tying the fight. fight and I believe that this will prevail. If you look at my cartel, there are nine submissions. I always seek to end the fight and I believe that this will prevail. I'm going to impose my rhythm from the beginning", he completed.
Índio's opponent in the main event of the show, Taigro also praised the visibility achieved by Future on the national and international scene. In this way, the fighter, who is also known as 'White Bear', planned to give a show to the audience that will follow the event at the Clube Atlético Indiano or through the app of Future MMA.
"It's a unique opportunity to make this title shot. The motivation increases, we get more focused on the job. It's a sign that work is being recognized ... This visibility that Future is giving is unique in discovering new talents. I'm very happy to do the main fight of a great event like Future. I'm going to give a show to this wonderful audience that is always following us and valuing our work", he concluded.
